The Stay at Home Mother

Well - the first year of Preschool is now over for my son. His last day this week turned out to be a wonderful, sunny afternoon. All the children had so much fun playing games and seeing their teacher one last time before the summer. They all received a diploma and a memory scrapbook containing pictures and artwork they completed throughout the year. They will definitely be going in the memory box for him! :)

Some exciting news to share is that I will be on Urban Rush next week (July 4) to discuss my consulting company and women who I have assisted with the start of their businesses. I am thrilled that I will be able to share some of the wonderful and creative business ideas that women have come up with, and share how they did it.

With the long weekend now upon us and my mom finally home from her vacation with my dad - it should be a very relaxing and enjoyable few days with the family. Now if only the sun would start to shine for more than five minutes - we could go down to the beach for an afternoon!

I wonder how many families are going on vacation during this long weekend? It certainly would be a great time to cross the border with the value of the CDN dollar so strong. I hope to get down there over the summer and visit Bellingham and Seattle too (LOVE Seattle). But it may be a bit difficult to sit for the car ride with my 17 month old daughter who needs to be moving all the time.....she is like the EVER READY BUNNY and just keeps going and going and going!
