Busy Days
As I prepare tonight for my trip to Victoria this weekend to speak to other women about becoming Stay at Home Moms and Mom Entrepreneurs at the Victoria Baby Fair - I am both anxious and excited at the same time.
From day one when I started writing my "Mom at Home" column, I knew I was destined to help other moms find a way to be closer to home - and closer to their children.
For those of you who won't be in Victoria to see my presentations, I will be having them recorded, so they can be downloaded off my website, for other moms to view.
These past few days that I have spent preparing for the Victoria Baby Fair (and for my own Event with Enterprising Moms Network in October) have gone by in such a blur.
My days have been spent taking my four-year old son to Preschool and back, three days per week and getting to spend that wonderful one-on-one time with my twenty-month old daughter. And my nights, when everyone is tucked away in their beds and their day has ended - is when my computer gets turned on, and my "other work" begins - and that is, to reach as many moms out there and empower them with as much information as possible.
But you know what - I wouldn't change it for the world. So I'm off to bed now and will let you know how the Victoria Baby Fair goes - and if you are in the area - please drop in and say hello!
