Back in the swing of things

RoutineWell - we are finally getting everyone back in to routine. My son went back to Preschool yesterday, my daughter is going to bed earlier - and I have returned to Survivor Bootcamp.

It feels good to be back to some seblance of normalcy for the family. With all the free time that we have had over the holidays and all the food that we have consumed (I put my seven pounds back on) - its a relief to have a schedule again - and my son feels the same way...

He could hardly wait to return to Preschool and see his friends and teacher again. It's a great place for him to learn, be stimulated, be with his friends...and burn off some of that excess engery that has been building up over Christmas!

Many people have made New Year's Resolutions - I didn't - mainly because I don't believe in them. I think if you set goals in your life and put a measurable way to gauge your progress - then you will succeed. But New Year's Resolutions are always packed with so much expectation and pressure...which is why most people never stick with them.

I've got lots of exciting news to announce in the next bit, so if you subscribe to my newsletter (you can subscribe on the front page) then you will be one of the first to hear about it.

I really enjoyed my break over the holidays - but now its time to get back to helping moms achieve thier goals for the New Year.

The next Enterprising Moms Network meeting is taking place on January 24th in White Rock. You can visit www.enterprisingmomsnetwork.com to get the details - and its always free for your first meeting. The keynote speaker is Gabrielle Loren (Loren & Associates) - and she will be providing us with tax tips for mom run businesses. I'm looking forward to seeing all the members (and new members) there!
