The Stay at Home Mother

International Women's Day, which is celebrated on March 8th each year, is a very important day for women. It gives us a day to appreciate the accomplishments of pioneering women of year's past, and to recognize all the women today, who continue to lead the way for the generation tomorrow.

So what woman has affected your life in a positive way? Was it a great political leader like Nellie McClung, who helped women obtain the federal vote in Canada for women in 1918? Or a great feminist leader like Gloria Steinem, who was once quoted as saying "I have yet to hear a man ask for advice on how to combine marriage and a career."

Or perhaps it's an "everyday" woman leader we know personally, whether it may be a teacher, a mother or friend. Who has made the biggest impact on your life positively?
