The Stay at Home Mother

So I finally was able to get out and see the movie of the decade - and of course, I mean Sex and the City.

The long awaited movie was definately worth the wait. Although I wasn't able to see it on opening night - the audience still seemed electric and completely in awe of it throughout the entire movie as if it was opening night......

I won't give away any details or plot line as I was so afraid myself to watch any show or read any newspaper article on the movie, for fear that it would give away some hint of what was to happen in it.

Suffice to say that the movie lives up to expectations, the outfits and shoes (wow - the shoes!) and the characters we have grown to love, remain as we have remembered them....in all the glitz and glamour of living in New York and those lovely scenes behind the story that romanticize the movie the whole way through.

Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte -and of course Samantha are even more beautiful on the big screen.

If you haven't seen it - go see it - and if you have - you'll probably want to see it again (like me). The audience even clapped and cheered at the end. Nobody walked out of there disappointed. And you won't either.

I have spent many evenings watching reruns of old Sex and the City DVDs that I own, and am so happy that I have a new one to add to them soon.
