The Stay at Home Mother

We all know the importance of having a great Dad in our lives. As a child growing up, my Dad was everything to me. He was a wonderful role model and inspired me to believe in myself - always.

When I was a teenager, he attended all my games in volleyball, basketball and track and field. I could always count on looking up in the stands and seeing him there. No matter how busy work was for him - he always found time to be there for me.

Girls look to their Dads as role models - as to how a man will treat them in their future. And boys look to their Dads as role models, to see how they should treat a woman in their future. Daddy's are so important, and as Moms, we know that our role (while leading) :) isn't the same as what fathers provide for their children. Sometimes my son and daughter just need their Daddy. Great Dads exemplify what it means to be a real man.

My husband really loves his children. No matter what his schedule is like or how tired he may be - he always makes time everyday to play and be close to them. I may be a Stay at Home Mom, but that wouldn't be possible without his support.

For every Daddy out there who gives so much to his family and makes the time to be with his children no matter what - Happy Father's Day!

Give your Dad, Grandpa and Husband a big hug and kiss today to let them know how much you appreciate and love them. They deserve to have a day to relax and feel appreciated just like we do on Mother's Day .....which is only 330 days away - just in case you were counting....;)
