The Stay at Home Mother

ATTENTION to all moms out there who have purchased Thomas the Train items in the past few years. There is a recall for some of the trains and parts as they have determined that the surface paints on the recalled products contain lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Today is the first day of my parents' vacation. It is great for my parents who have wanted to get away for a couple of weeks on their own. The down side is that I am so used to talking with my mom each morning that it is going to be brutal not to have that dialogue with her over a coffee or phone call for the next while.

I am extremely close to my mom and it felt strange not to talk to her this morning on the phone. Even if it's about nothing in particular or if we are disagreeing on something....it really doesn't matter because its still just about connecting with one another. I have a feeling that the next couple of weeks will involve me talking a lot to myself....or you may find me blogging even more....:)

My next blog is going to be the last installment on Home-Based Business Basics.
