The Stay at Home Mother

Well - we finally did it - we finally purchased another car. And yes, it was extremely stressful, just as I knew it would be. The vehicle we purchased for myself and the children is the Toyota RAV 4. It is silver and looks great. It has tons of space for the children and all my miscellaneous things and drives really well. I also feel very safe in it. And it only took a month of consistent tire kicking to do it!

My mom is still away on vacation and has only checked in ONCE with me to let me know how they are doing, That is really not good considering when I was younger, it was unacceptable for me not to phone every couple of days to let my parents know how I was - oh how things have changed....

My son is almost finished Preschool for the year and will have his last class next Tuesday. I will definately be bringing along the video camera for that day!

He will be returning in September for his final year there (4-5) but it still is sad to see this year ending. He has made some wonderful friendships in the class and looks forward to going every Tuesday and Thursday - and he loves his teacher. I don't know how I'm going to break it to him that he won't be going for awhile....consistency and routine is so important for children (and their parents!). And then the pressure is on me to find him things to do during the summer! I have a feeling there will be lots of "beach trips" in store for us. :)

I know I promised that this blog was going to be the last installment for Home Based Business Basics - but had to share my thoughts today . It will definately be in the next blog for sure.
