On another note - my recent visit to BTV (Breakfast Television) went really well the other day. I took viewer questions and did two segments. Anyways, I'm now going to be a regular guest on the show to discuss "mom things" once a month. It will be a great way for me to elaborate on certain topics from my column and help more moms find a way to be AT HOME!!!

Today was the hottest day in White Rock history. It has been brutal. I think it got up to 36 here at the beach! And I heard that at 7pm it was 40 degrees in Mission! That is crazy! Weather like that is just not normal for here! It really made us groggy and sleepy - so we just stayed close to home. I made it fun for the kids by setting up a "mini" water park in our backyard for them - complete with a cartoon mouse sprinker, small water pool and water activity table. And believe me when I say that I was right in there with them today!
