The Stay at Home Mother

I have lots of "Mom" News to share - but first I want to share with you my son's return to Preschool for his second year. He was so excited (for the past week we have been counting the number of "sleeps" before it was time to go to school). His clothes were laid out the night before, and his new back pack was waiting for him at the front door. (He had an apple and a picture he drew for his teacher inside of it).

His teacher loved it and gave him a big hug (a hug that he has been waiting for all summer). It was just so wonderful to see him get so excited about school and getting to see all his friends again... I had almost three hours to myself, and honestly, it seemed to go by SO SLOWLY! I mean, it was great because I had some "one on one" time with my daughter - but I guess I was just as excited for him and couldn't wait to hear all his news.

And of course when he came home, all I could get out of him, was that he played with his friends, his teacher read a book and he rode a bike....and then he just shrugged it off like "no big deal". :( But I saw him secretly smile.....he just loves keeping me in suspense. Later in the day, he revealed his snack time meal, and playing tag outdoors. You gotta love a kid who knows how to build suspense! LOL. :)

So - changing topics - there are a few things going on - that I need to mention in this blog. As well - I was recently interviewed by a wonderful on-line resource for moms called dotcommothers.com. It is supportive, and shares interesting stories of successful moms in business. It is a great website to learn from, with real life stories and valuable information. Take a look - you can't help but get inspired!
