When they asked the little girl where her home was she replied - Where mother is

An Event I Won't Forget

Last night's Launch Party for Enterprising Moms Network was a huge success. And although the wind and rain was a hurdle we had to overcome - more than 80 moms braved the storm and attended to hear how the Network could support their business.

I met and spoke with so many amazing and talented women and it truly was an inspirational night that I won't forget....

I was able to talk about the Network and introduce the Board Members. In addition, many of the Sponsors and "Friends" of the Network were also able to speak about why they support Enterprising Moms Network. We also had the honour of having Mayor Judy Forster come out to show support for moms in business in the community.

Many moms purchased a membership and I saw many familiar faces of moms who have attended several of my past workshops and events. Their continual support has meant the world to me.

Coast Capital Savings, which is the Platinum Sponsor of the Enterprising Moms Network, were there in full force to help with the Launch. Their continual support and encouragement through this whole process has meant so much. They are truly a credit union that cares about its memebers. And if you are a mom who needs help with a loan, insurance or even help with your business plan - they are definately the place to go.

The inspirational speaker of the night - Jhet Torcelino-van Ruyven - author of the best selling book - The Tale of Juliet, You have the Power to Change Your Life was an incredible speaker and gave so much inspiration and understanding to moms about the power within all of us to believe in our dreams.

Many thanks to every mom who attended and can't wait until the next meeting! If you are interested in attending a meeting or joining Enterprising Moms Network - visit my new website www.enterprisingmomsnetwork.com. In the next week, I will be posting pictures from the evening, as well as appearances on BTV and CFUN talking more about Enterprising Moms Network.

And if you were there last night - please post a comment and share what you thought of the night with other moms!

And I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend (despite the downpour of rain we are getting right now!)

Congrats on a job well done Kelley!  As always your event was motivational and inspirational.  As I said, I'm really excited to be a part of EMN and I'm especially looking forward to helping other mom entrepreneurs where I can, as well as learn from them.  Networking is something that I didn't start doing until I was about 1 year into business and I've learned so much through doing so, and always wish it's something that I started right at the beginning.  As busy moms and entrepreneurs, we value our time and have to pick and choose where our time should be spent.  I believe the structure and formal environment that you're providing for your members will make the difference in your group, helping EMN to stand out as the networking group to be a part of.

Last night was WONDERFUL! I was so inspired. Thanks Kelly so much for all your hard work. Although I didn't sign up for the EMN last night (I'm a slow and methodical decision maker) I'm doing so today! I'm looking forward to working with many wonderful moms in the future.
