Baby Einstein & baby's first moves
Julie Aigner-Clark, the founder of Baby Einstein, the popular videos that entertain our little ones with classical music, puppets and poetry, was in Vancouver a couple of weeks ago for the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs Gala at the Waterfront Hotel.
A new video by Baby Einstein (now owned by Disney) has just come out for babies that are on the move and celebrates a baby's first discoveries and development of motor skills called "Baby's First Moves".
Julie mentioned at the Gala that the first video she ever did was based on her own experiences as a mom.
She didn't do any research, but knew what her baby liked to look at. She made the assumption that what her baby liked to look at - others would too. She even drew the logo herself and came up with the name as well. It just encompassed everything she wanted it to.
She was an inspiring and amazing speaker, and I am so pleased that I had the opportunity to hear her speak in person.
The latest video that I mentioned above, encourages a baby to discover the world around them. There are tons of babies featured in the video taking their first steps, clapping, jumping and dancing. My daughter is two and still loves to watch these videos. I love them simply because they don't talk down to children, but rather, lifts them up and stimulates both their motor and cognitive skills.

Next week, I will be sharing some insight in to the next Event I am attending on March 11th through Unique Lives and Experiences.
Rita Moreno is speaking at the Orpheum in Vancouver, about being the first Latino actress who paved the way for others in Hollywood- www.uniquelives.com. She starred in the West Side Story, The King and I, and many others, and has won an Oscar, a Grammy, an Emmy and a Tony! Can't wait! :)
