The Stay at Home Mother

Inspired in the City is a great shopping event that is taking place in Richmond on November 2nd at the Steveson Community Centre. It will showcase an amazing collection of locally made products and support services for moms and families.

And certainly a great opportunity to start your Christmas shopping early before the throngs of people start their holiday shopping...What I especially like about this upcoming event is that it also features inspirational words of wisdom that can be read around the event, from the businesses showcasing of what inspired them to start their own business.

Karen Chiu and Sabina Bauer who own You Pillows Inc, are the producers of the event. They are doing it because they have both been so inspired by many of the mom-run businesses and want them to share their stories with others. Its also a great opportunity to support the community and locally-owned businesses.
