The Best Job in the World is located on the Great Barrier Reef.

Ok - if you haven't heard about this job, then you have been living under a rock for the past couple of weeks.

For six months, all you have to do is live there, explore the island and blog about it weekly. And for that - you get paid $100,000 US.....

Tourism Queensland is responsible for this promotion to help raise awareness of the island and their tourism which has been down lately.

Response to the job has been mind-boggling, with more than one million unique visitors logging onto the website that advertises the position since it was posted.

The department had to upgrade from its one original server to ten to handle the volume of visitors to the site, which crashed earlier in the week.

The job's website shows many of the 60-second video applications received so far from all over the world, including Brazil, Romania, Switzerland, US - and yes, Canada.

What a dream it would be not only for myself, but for my children as well.

I can't think of anything more incredible than an experience like that.
