So are you ready for the great Easter egg hunt from the Easter Bunny?

Last week, like many other parents, I headed out to the mall in search of chocolate eggs, bunnies and candy.

It seems like every second month I am buying chocolates and/or candy! Case in point - Oct - Halloween candies, Dec - Christmas chocolates, Feb - Valentine candy (this was more than any other holiday so far celebrated!) and now alas - here is Easter.....

I've been trying to talk more about the meaning of Easter with my children this year rather than just about the "Big Bunny" that descendes on our household tomorrow. I want them to understand the significance of the day as well. I am planning on attending church with them tomorrow and have the day balanced a bit from the egg hunts (they have three this year - one at our house, one my parents, and one at my husband's parents).

Yep - that's a lot of chocolate and candy!

But mostly, I am looking forward to the family dinner we have planned at our house for our parents. I like the fact that we can come together, enjoy the holiday and appreciate our family.
