The Stay at Home Mother

Today I am very happy.

As a writer, its nice every once in awhile to spread your wings and try something new.

And that's exactly what I did this month after spending the last four years as a columnist. I made the leap to feature writer for the Surrey Now newspaper....

I wrote a three-part series on Social Media. The fist installment came out this past Friday on Women and Social Media. It was fun to write and although I have my degree in Journalism and have been writing as a columnist for years - I have never written as a journalist.

But it felt good. :)

Next week, the topic is on teenagers and Facebook. It's a real eye opener about the implications of posting too much information and doing damage to your reputation early on in life.

The final installment is about dating online - and the way we are meeting one another through the online world.
