The Stay at Home Mother

Well it's officially Christmas in White Rock. Today we received a considerable amount of snow, that makes it feel a heck of a lot more like Christmas.

Although I have lived here for almost for twenty years, I still remember what it was like to live on the Prairies - and for it to snow for six months of the year......

And despite the inconveniences of the snow, I still hope for it here in BC so my children can experience a "white" Christmas.

There are things that go hand in hand with a true Christmas - so here is my list of what I think a "true" Christmas really is...

1. Carol singining in the neighbourhood

2. Decorating the Christmas Tree

3. Christmas music everywhere I go

4. Christmas lights on our house (and visitig all the homes with my kids, who have spectacular lights!)

5. Making a large food donation to the Food Bank & toy donation to a needy family.

6. Christmas Baking

7. A suprise email or card from a long time friend saying they were thinking about me.

8. Visiting Santa with the children.

9. Writing Christmas cards to all my friends and family

10. Snow (of course!)
