The Stay at Home Mother

The Easter Bunny came hopping in to our home during the wee hours of the night and left waaaaaaaay too much chocolate! ;)

It doesn't help the matter either that the kids also had an egg hunt at a friend's Easter party yesterday - and have two other scheduled eater egg hunts at both sets of grandparents later today!

The kids want to share with mommy, but I have no desire to go near the chocolate this year.  Summer is going to be here in no time and I've spent the greater of six months trying to stay thin... but alas....I can see the chocolate handwriting on the wall.......

So what do you do with all the extra chocolate in your household?

One thing I am thinking about doing (because there is NO WAY the kids will be able to eat all this chocolate) is to send some to work with my husband. There are lots of single people who don't have kids, and would love some chocolate treats.

The other option is to just throw it out after a week, but I know many women out there like me, who would cringe at the thought of wasted chocolate (not to mention wasted dollars on it!).  

So I think I will make a lot of employees happy at my husband's work tomorrow - but the good stuff? 

SIGH...

I think that will have to stay put here with the kids and maybe...just maybe....a little bit for mommy.
